About

I am a Product Designer with four years of experience designing high-traffic operational platforms. I specialise in complex environments and constraint-driven B2B SaaS products that demand deep configurability and accessibility. I partner directly with Product and Engineering teams to shape requirements early and take full ownership of the design through delivery. My approach focuses heavily on structural clarity and sustainable design systems, built to hold up as products grow. I look for problems I have not solved before.

Experience

Product Designer·The Access Group (previously QikServe)

Jan 2023 – Sep 2026

Primary design owner of the self-ordering kiosk. The kiosk is live in 8,000+ outlets across 40+ countries and processes 22,000+ transactions daily. Scope later grew to cover online ordering and back-office dashboards, and I have designed for operators including Burger King, El Pollo Loco and Costa Coffee.The Access Group is the largest UK-headquartered software company. I joined its hospitality division through the QikServe acquisition.

Platform configurability: Evolved the kiosk from a rigid layout into a configurable product, letting internal teams and operators adapt the interface to each brand, its business needs and service environment through an implementation tool and an operator dashboard.
Accessibility: Designed for the product's wheelchair-accessible mode, defined read order for ADA audio navigation in development handoff files, resolved contrast limitations in styling architecture and took part in accessibility audits against WCAG.
Design system & documentation: Built and maintained the kiosk design system in Figma, covering 270+ component variants, their states and configuration rules, and introduced a documentation format later adopted by the wider design team.
Client solutions: Designed solutions for individual clients and prospects to meet the requirements of live deployment, including third-party loyalty and payment integrations, multi-language support and layout adaptation.
Ordering ecosystem: Contributed design work to online ordering, back-office dashboard solutions and open check alongside the kiosk.
Backlog ownership: Ran the kiosk design backlog in Jira, feeding product improvements and consistency fixes into feature work and coordinating delivery priorities with developers and product owners.
Requirements definition: Shaped requirements with Product Management and Engineering before briefs were finalised.
Sales enablement: Produced interactive prototypes and tailored concepts for enterprise sales conversations with large hospitality brands.

AI in my workflow

Artificial intelligence is changing how digital products are built. I dedicate time to exploring new tools and understanding where they can genuinely improve my design workflow.

In practice that means getting from an idea to a working interface faster, checking early that the structure and logic hold up and writing documentation without spending hours on it.

Beyond work

After hours I crochet, make scents and watch far too many musicals. Huge cat lady with two grey cats, Rysia and Zenek. I have a lasting soft spot for Scotland, its hairy coos and rainy weather
